Air Zimbabwe has announced that it is now accepting ZiG payments for ticket purchases.
Air Zimbabwe stated that they are pleased to advise that they accept ZiG payments for ticket purchases through their sales offices.
“We are pleased to advise that Air Zimbabwe accepts ZiG payments for ticket purchases through our sales offices.
“This move reflects our commitment to adapt to the evolving financial landscape and offer our stakeholders convenient payments options,” read the statement.
Air Zimbabwe is still finalizing the last stages so that it’s clients can pay online using ZiG.
“As we integrate Zimbabwe Gold Currency into our payment systems we are finalizing the process of its acceptance on our online payment platform.
“We understand the importance of providing seamless and secure online transaction and we are working diligently to ensure that this option is available to our valued customers,” Air Zimbabwe announced.
Air Zimbabwe is supporting government’s efforts by accepting the new currency.
“Air Zimbabwe remains dedicated to providing excellent service to our passengers while embracing innovative solutions that benefit both our customers and the economy,” Air Zimbabwe stated.
The Zimbabwe Gold Currency was introduced this year on 5 April and major airlines that include Fast Jet have already started taking payments in ZiG.
